Raleigh, N.C. — New details surfaced Monday morning about a crash that left a laundromat damaged on Sunday night.
A vehicle crashed through the front window of a laundromat at 1601 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard on Sunday evening before 11 p.m. Raleigh police originally said they were investigating the incident as a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian with minor injuries, but officials later said that no one was injured and that the accident was no longer considered a hit-and-run.
Police said a family member was inside the laundromat when another family member backed their car into the windows. One person will be charged.
Broken glass was still scattered on the ground after the incident. There was also police tape put up to mark off where the accident happened.
Despite the damage, people continued to do their laundry.
