Durham, N.C. — Durham police were searching for clues after a man was shot Sunday evening in what was believed to have been a targeted attack, authorities said.
The incident occurred after 8 p.m. at the intersection of North Miami Boulevard and Rayner Street.
The victim, whose identity was pending, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of wounds to his arm and upper legs. His condition was not immediately available.
Police have not said what prompted the gunfire or if the victim knew the person who shot him.
